I’m sure the Mac ones likely work well, and this is in beta after all and not everything is fleshed out yet, but until I would think that an app developer would at the very least show you how to enable that feature if it has that, and if it hasn’t I would’ve expected them to let people know about it from the get go. It makes that app many times more useful then this beta, and is not something you want to hear when we’re talking about an app that you will eventually have to pay for, even if you don’t have to pay for it right at the moment.

My Remote Desktop app, which is free and I can use even when I’m in a different part of town, can draw using desktop photoshop with ease, albeit without pressure sensitivity. That would be fine if there were more features included and wasn’t advertised like the regular Mac versions, but no, it doesn’t have more features than that and is advertised as the windows version of the same app. It’s basically a glorified wireless trackpad with extra features and I cannot figure out for the life of me how to get it to register that I’m trying to draw with it. This is the one thing i downloaded this thing for. Mackgarn1559 - I can’t use this app as a remote drawing tablet I backed the kickstarter for luna display on windows and am really hoping to see things shape up soon, since I’d really like to streamline my workflow with something like this. This might be possible to do by adjusting your actual monitor display resolution in windows (I haven’t gotten around to trying this myself), but it seems like it would be handy as a one touch button in the app if it’s feasible.

I figure that in the case of mirroring the display and working away from your actual PC setup, it wouldn’t matter if things looked messed up on your PC monitor if you’re working on your iPad anyways.
One of the suggestions that I might have outside of everything mentioned above, is maybe some kind of quick setting on the app menu in iPad to force the display to match iPad ratio. It would stop if I minimized the window, but it seems like something that should just go away after you click it once.Ħ. When selecting which display to mirror, it kept repeatedly showing me the “click on this display” button to select the display, even after clicking it multiple times. (Super zoomed in or into a corner of the window, when I was trying to get it show half my screen).ĥ. I have an ultra wide monitor and tried to adjust the zoom to something that made more sense for the iPad display ratio, but the zoom would freak out and lock into positions that were really unhelpful. When I was testing things out in Photoshop, there was no pressure sensitivity whatsoever despite trying to fiddle with the settings for Project Blue on my iPad.Ĥ. So while I had Photoshop open on display 01, I was actually dragging windows and icons around on display 02 and I couldn’t figure out how to fix the issue.ģ. I have a dual monitor setup and while it was simple enough to tell the app which one to mirror, it wasn’t interacting correctly.įor example, my iPad was mirroring display 01, but my actions on the iPad were being reflected and interacting with display 02. I had some issues getting it to detect the correct display. Connection/Setup via WiFi was very smooth and quick.Ģ.
